Syllabus Workshop in Manila

Description:
In this workshop, we will be introducing our Manila Syllabus toolbox. To assist instructors, we have developed some syllabus samples that can be used in conjunction with Manila.

We will be introducing the Manila includeHTTP feature and we will be providing a syllabus format and "boiler plate" text that instructors can include. By using the "include" feature, Distance Learning can update the "boiler plate" without impacting the rest of the syllabus.

In the workshop we will:

* Analyse student needs and syllabus layout
* Review page building with Manila
* Provide overview of syllabus tools
* Provide customized syllabus information from Distance Learning files
* Provide templates for Distance Learning Syllabus creation
* Demonstrate using the syllabus tools
* Assist with individual syllabus preparation
* Review the process for maintaining the syllabus after it has been developed
* Review syllabus information that Distance Learning will provide and maintain
* Brainstorm improvements
