Introduction to WebCT

Description:
In this workshop, you will have an opportunity to participate in a WebCT class as a student. The "online class" activities will also be viewed from the Instructor tools. In addition to an overview of the features and structure of WebCT, there will also be time to discuss how to start using WebCT functions in Distance Learning courses.

* Introduction - objectives, previous experience with WebCT, online learning
* Logging in - "student" groups + instructor/developer
* Homepage - layout, icons, functions
* Course Menu - navigation, instructor control
* Student view - Discussions, Grades, Calendar, Quiz, Self Test, Syllabus
* Content modules - "lectures", Action Menu, Next, tools
* Assignments - turn-in, grading, retrieving work
* Instructor development tools
* Course administration
