Cindy Vinson, Ed.D.I have been with the Foothill-De Anza Community College District since July of 2001 as the Dean of Learning Technologies.
Prior to coming to the district, I worked six years in the private sector designing corporate training including web-based training, consulting with companies on E Learning strategies, training instructional designers on course development, and most recently managing E Learning for VERITAS Software.
Before completing my doctorate in Educational Psychology and Technology from the University of Southern California, I worked in the East Side Union High School District as a special education resource specialist and as coordinator of technology at Independence High School.
I spent a year teaching in Japan at a junior college and traveled in Asia meeting with educators in China, Korea, and Japan.
I believe that the highest form of learning is teaching. There are few things that I value more than learning.
